Chris is our chief technician.  If you call for ONSITE SERVICE, the odds  are you will see Chris at your door.  He can troubleshoot and correct any computer problem you are likely to have.  He excels at network installations, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades and repairs.  He eats, breathes and sleeps this stuff.

Chris has more than six years experience with IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York, and has been with Coastal Computer Systems since 1996.  Because he is Steve's son, he has had the advantage of using computers since he was twelve years old.

You won't find a better or more professional computer technician in our area than Chris Bouton.

What, no Screen Saver ?

Screen savers are cute and they can be entertaining, but they don't do much good for your computer or your monitor.  In fact, they can be a source for lockups and can even slow your computer down.  They don't save screens either.  They used to reduce damage to  the old phosphor CRT's, but that was long ago (in "computer" years).   The color monitors of today don't use phosphor.  Screen savers can help you keep your computer private though.

Scandisk Weekly

We recommend you run Scandisk on your computer once a week to keep things "tidy".   While you're at it, run DEFRAG monthly to optimize the performance of your hard drive.
