World War II
Servicemen Appreciation

The purpose of this web is to offer appreciation to the men and women who stepped up and defended our nation and much of the rest of the world in their fight during World War II.

The site is a place where those who served as well as those who wish to offer their appreciation can present their thoughts.  If you have something that you would like included, please contact me, Steve Bouton.

We owe these people a great deal and there is no time better than NOW to let them know it.

I met Bob Bradicich in December of 2001, less than a week ago at the time of this writing.  He arrived at my office in need of some computer work.  We had a nice talk as I worked, and I learned that Bob is a World War Two veteran.  I was thrilled to learn that Bob had written memories of his experience that were on that computer.   Bob gave me permission to put two of his writings up on the Internet for later generations to read.  I sincerely hope they do.

I imagine you will be as amazed as I as you read his two writings, below.  Bob, just 18 years of age, entered battle soon after D-Day.  We all owe Bob and the folks of his generation who offered their lives for our freedom.  Thank you, Bob!

Régine Villers contacted me after she found the web page for Bob Bradicich.  Her story, one we Americans need to read, remember, and emulate, follows.

Thank you very much, Régine.
